• When you have made your choice, click on the desired size and on the button “add to shopping bag”.     • The credit card data (number of the card, expiry date etc.) are forwarded automatically via a encrypted security system without us or any third party having any kind of access to this data. Even in the event of a possible refund, the complete credit card details cannot become known. This is why a refund is only possible on the card with which the purchase was originally made. The financial information connected with credit card transactions (number of the card, expiry date etc.) are automatically forwarded with a coded message without Philipp Plein International AG or a third party having any access to them. Except in the event of a refund on possible returns, this information will never again be used.

      Please note that the credit card account is directly debited but the payment is under review by our service provider. We are not able or allowed to send out the order until the payment is verified.

      Please be also aware that with credit card payments the billing address and the delivery address must be both either within or outside EU.

  • PayPal
    • With PayPal, when selecting this option at checkout, you will be directed to the PayPal website to ‘log in’ and review the amount shown before clicking on ‘pay now’. Once you complete the transaction, you will be redirected to plein.com

      Please be aware that with PayPal payments we are only allowed to send the orders to the PayPal address. For this reason, you need to make sure that the delivery address

      and the PayPal address are the same, otherwise we will have to cancel your order.

  • SOFORT Banking
    • With Sofort banking, you will have to select your country and with the help of the bank’s sort code, you will also have to choose the bank that will carry out the transfer. Then you will be directed in the login section of the Sofort banking secure payment form. Please login with your own online banking details. The information will be sent to your bank in an encrypted form and you will be asked for a confirmation code. Each confirmation code can be used only once and for your security cannot be entered a second time. After that, you will receive a summary of your transfer in the order confirmation E-Mail from our online shop. This will give you all the information about your purchase in one place.

      2. Please avoid damage and soiling. Please return the goods to us with the original packaging if possible, with all accessories and with all packaging components. If appropriate, use a protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use an appropriate packaging to provide sufficient protection against damage in transit to avoid claims for compensation due to damage as a result of insufficient packaging.

  • § 9 Damage in transit

      2. Any failure to notify the delivery agent or to contact us has no consequences in respect of your legal rights. However, you agree to provide reasonable assistance to help us assert our own claims against the carrier or the transport insurance.
  • § 10 Warranty
      1. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, your warranty claims are governed by the statutory provisions of the sale of goods and other applicable laws.
      2. If you are not a consumer the statutory provisions shall apply with the following modifications:
        – Only our own indications and the manufacturer’s product description shall determine the agreed characteristics of the goods. Public statements, praises or advertising of the manufacturer do not represent any contractual indication of the characteristics and functioning of the goods.
        – You must inspect the goods forthwith and with due diligence for deviations in respect of quality and quantity and in the case of a defect that is apparent on normal visual inspection to notify us within 7 days of receipt of the goods or, in the case of a latent defect, within 7 days of the latent defect having become apparent. To meet the deadline, it shall be sufficient to dispatch your notice before expiry of the deadline. Warranty claims cannot be raised if the obligation to examine and give notice of defects is not complied with.
        – In the event of any defect notified to us within the timescales set out above, we shall at our option provide remedy by means of subsequent improvement or substitute delivery (supplementary performance). In any case of subsequent improvement, we shall not have to bear any increased expenses incurred by the goods having been brought to any place other than the place of fulfilment, unless where such relocation is in compliance with use of the goods in accordance with their intended use.
        – Should supplementary performance fail twice, you may at your option demand diminution or rescind the contract.
        – The warranty period shall be one year from delivery of the goods.
  • § 11 Liability
      1. Unlimited liability: We shall be liable for wilful intent and gross negligence. In the event of ordinary negligence, we shall be liable under the provisions of the he German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) and for injury to the life, body or health of persons.
      2. Limitation of liability: Apart from that, we shall be liable for ordinary negligence only in the event of a breach of a material contractual obligation fulfilment of which makes proper performance of the agreement possible in the first place and discharge of which the contractual partner may typically rely on (material contractual obligation). This limitation of liability shall likewise apply for the benefit of our vicarious agents.
  • § 12 Final Provisions
      1. Should any of the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
      2. These terms and conditions shall be subject to the law of the Dealer`s home state, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
